  • I have bought beans on ebay. Last year I got hubby and myself a lovely bath robe each, they are really good, well worth the P&P.

POO! I had forgotton about my bean stash, I've just dug them out and 19 of them have expired!!
    Sig ah Sig Ahhh
  • I also hadn't realised they had expiry dates on them and had loads beans which expired Dec 31st 2006. I filled in the cards and sent them all off and just thought I would see what happened. A few days later I had 4 parcels delivered with 2 towel/slipper sets, a mug set and a pamper set!
This was about 10 days ago, so if you haven't thrown your beans out, send them in and see what happens!

I saved my beans like crazy last year (didn't realise it carried on into this year, but have started saving again). I managed to collect enough to get 2 x travel bags, 2 x dressing gowns, 2 x slipper & towel sets, 2 x books and a pamper set. I have to say the quality of all the items is exceptionally good and well worth the time taken to save up the beans. From memory, the p&p came to about £18ish, so although it's not entirely free the quality of gifts far outweighs the cost of postage in my opinion.

i have 22 beans i will not be using. all expire dec 2007
(i also have about 20 which already expired on dec 2006  )

i would really like some tesco health and beauty coupons or tesco quitpack booklet with vouchers as my local tescos has never ever had any of these.

    would be willing to swap?
The helpline told me last month that they will accept 2006 Beans in the following ratio - 30% of a total order, so where the other 70% of beans are 2007.
    This too, shall pass.
  • i think i sent in mainly 2005 and 2006 beans and still got my travel bag, seems i even sent in one to many they sent a letter a few days before bag arrived with a token for the extra bean!!

Just an addition to the original post................ i would just send any out-of-date beans, everyone still seems to be getting the rewards and i've even had additional beans returned.

The quality of the travel bag is very good......
