i understand that the maximum amount allowed under HMRC rules is 25% i can take from my pension pot when i retire, however i have been told there is an illness rule that allows more true or false?

if you have less than 12mths to live you can take the whole lot. You can also take more if you are in a occupational pernsion that has protected tfc.0
