  • How exactly do you connect to the internet at the moment? Don't you already have a wireless router?

What model Xbox do you have. Is it the older style or the newer Slim version? The newer models have wireless built in, the older versions require a wireless adapter/ethernet cable/homeplugs to connect.

    its 2 seperate items
you can get live on your own xbox home page for £23.99 right now(special offer)
so that would leave £46 for a router on your £70 price

Hi, my son has recently bought a new xbox and has the free 1 month subscription to this, but we've looked everywhere for this special offer and it isn't coming up for him. Any ideas??

the wifi connector is okay for live but not if you plan to stream films
    I bought a 2nd hand wireless N adapter(the newer/faster one) for £30 on eBay
Im sure its fine for xbox live but it cant stream any HD media
most disappointed as i have a nice media network set up
14 months for £32 is okay

Can I just say a big thankyou for this advice, we've been in contact with MS and they are doing all they can to ensure that my son gets this deal. Everything they've tried so far hasn't worked, but they are coming back to us shortly.

Sorry, forgot to update. They sorted it out and my son will get the £23.99 deal on the 16th, when his current trial expires. Thanks again for this information. (They were really nice to talk to on the phone and very helpful.)

HI where did you get the telephone number from? I'm in same position, had one month free trial soon to end but not got the £23,99 offer and can't get it through the link. Will try and give them a ring like you!
    Cheers
