I'm hoping to make my own invites and have lots of idead in my head! Ideally I would like some sort of free computer program to help me make them and then I would take the finished image to a printer. Does this make sense?! Does anyone know any good ways to do this. I'm going for a vintage theme and I want to have flowers/polka dots/pastels that kind of thing.
Thanks!

    Your best bet is http://www.vistaprint.co.uk/

No offence but it sounds like your technical ability might not be that high and Vistaprint do free designs and the end product looks very professional.
    I love surprises!

Have a look at some fonts here
http://www.dafont.com/themes.php?psize=l&text=wedding+love+etc Someone posted the link the other day and i think there are some fab fonts you can add to your bog standard ones. A lot of them are free as well :)
  • You could download a free 30 day trial of adobe illustrator to create your designs to take to a printers however been warned that printers charge a lot to do printing especially if they are not getting money to do the design as well. Vista Print does seem reasonable, alternatlvely get yourself a good top loading printer that will take card and do it yourself?
  • When is your wedding? I am thinking of having the same type of wedding invites and luckily i work for a web design company so i'm twisting the arm of our designer to do the templates.

They wont be done for a couple of months but depending on when your wedding is i'm happy to email you accross the templates.
  • thanks, that would be great if you could PM me. Would be much appreciated! I'm not gettting married until August 2011 so have plenty time.

Thanks for the other suggestions, I will check them out.
