Need to .... get off... sofa
Options

Hello
Tonight I am going to be batch cooking low fat versions of:
Spaghetti Bolognaise
Lasagne (not too low fat, will have cream in sauce!)
Broccoli cheese
Mince beef and onion pies (including making pastry)
Beef burgers
Tomato soup
Chicken and leek soup (or maybe pie, having been inspired by a recent thread!
for freezing. Unless the mince beef isn't thawed, then it will be done tomorrow. Anything else I can do and freeze with mince beef?
That is if I can get off the sofa and this site and do it!!

I used to do loads of batch cooking - mainly for a friend who was on a diet. Good for you I am finding it hard to get off the sofa and get motivated.0

Completed:
Lasagne
Broccoli cheese
Mince and onion for pies
Rock cakes in the oven (to disguise the smell of birthaday cake)
Unfortunately my inherited Kenwood Chef has stopped working and there is a suspicious smell of burnt innards, which is nothing to do with my cooking, honest!!
Does anyone know how easy it is to get them fixed or should it be consigned to the skip?
Thanks

well done on being so motivated, i have not really tried batch cooking main meals yet though i do it quite often when i am baking.
The idea of batch cooking main meals is still something i find quite daunting.Success means having to worry about every thing in the world......EXCEPT MONEY. Johnny Cash
