Spend so much and get money off?????

Is it just me or does anyone ever find that they 'can't ' spend the minimum amount for most of these vouchers???

Like I got one for Tesco's the other day - £5 off for a spend of £75 and Waitrose - £15 off £90.

But I can ever only spend about 30-40 quid a time for me and the 2 boys. My freezer's always full and my larder, too.

Eat everything in the freezer and then shop :p

But seriously... if I can't make the minimum spend for the Tesco voucher on my regular shop for the £10/£15 voucher off £75/£100 spend target then I'll either take a load off to just qualify for the £5 off £50 spend and plan for another shop sooner or bump up on non-perishable items to hit the £75/£100 target.

With Tesco's I view it as they are paying you to stay at home to shop with them. You should be able to find a £5 off £50 voucher quite easily on the internet.
EGG are a bunch of complete bankers!
  • stock up on bog roll, you will always need to wipe your bum.
    stock up on xmas alcohol
presents from tesco for next door neighbours ( choccies)
as someone else also said, stock up on non perishable stuff also.

i have a problem trying to get my missus NOT to spend £100 per week food shopping
what is the plural of moose?

    slags
  • Well I don't really drink, I have enough bof roll to wipe my bum for the next 6months thanks to Tesco's last promotion on Charmin - lol.

Thing is, its quite hard to actually spend the money when you nake most foods from scratch and fresh stuff goes off too quick. I get my veggies in a box every week or so anyway and neither I or the kids are great meat eaters.

I don't buy pressies for the neighbours -we just give each others kids cards. Most of my Xmas shoping is done and the boys are going to their dad's this year so I'll be going to my mum's.

I think I'll just have to forget about the vouchers and stick to my £30/week trips out - lol

I know this is off topic, but why are you showing your bum in your avatar? Not that it doesn't look a nice bum or anything I'm just curious...

Another OT comment...is that a skid mark on the pants?
Back to topic...i had these Farm Food vouchers, went to spend £25 tonight (for £2.50 disc.), ended up spending £60+ (get £5 off a £50 spend). Wallet is lighter & freezer is jam packed. Won't need to go there for another month, so you're best to run down your stock then fill-up.
