If more people did this it would be great the normal cost of a wedding is now taking the p xxxx people need to be more inventive and do things cheaper it does not make it any less of a wedding its the person you marry that is the important part so dont let society con you into spending a fortune when it really does not need to cost a lot and this just proves soThe average woman would rather have beauty than brains,
because the average man can see better than he can think.
Many people's view of the world is down to their experience, perception and what they have been conditioned to,this isnt any old MSE reply this is a important and experienced MSE reply :rotfl:0 -

Why is it a choice between a Premier Inn wedding and spending £20k?
Personally, I would not want to get married at a motel, wearing a dress from ASDA. We had a small wedding for 30 people. It cost more than £199, but not a huge deal more. For that, we got to pick out a venue, outfits, food and drinks that were 'us'. It's the difference between making a homemade meal and microwaving Tesco Value lasagna.
If people want to get married at a Premier Inn, more power to them. But I'd hate to think that anyone believes that this is the only (or the best) option on a tight budget.0 -
if its the outfit that puts people off im sure with the other saving you could afford to treat urself to a nice dress etc! personally at that price i would be happy enough to go for it and put extra cash towards a nice family holiday or something and not have to worry about being in debt for thousands which is the normal price of a wedding:)***MSE...My.Special.Escape***0
