Hi guys,
I thought I had read about this on here before but I cannot find the info.
I have 500 or so dvds and there are about a third of them which I will never watch again. I am not willing to go through the hassle of selling one at a time, getting £1.50 and having to send them out in the post. I had heard that there was some shop in belfast which would buy dvds and give you credit towards others - does anyone know if this is the case and where this shop might be?
I don't expect a fortune but if I could effectively trade 3 for 1 then I would be a happy chap!
Thanks

Thanks guys!
As far as selling... well I have done this before many times but it just isnt worth the hassle. When I was selling them for £7 or £8 then i could justify packaging them up and posting them away but at £2 or £3 I would be better just doing some overtime at work and tossing the dvds in the bin! I have tried doing job lots before but it normally ends up with someone wanting to pick through them and no one willing to pay for the lot!Always overestimating...0 -
Have you tried CEX ??
They tend to take good quality DVD's, their cash payment for them is rubbish, but the exchange credit tends to be higher, it would better than throwing them out anyway:o and you could get shot of them all hopefully in 1 go:)I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:0 -
Thanks. Yes, one of the previous posts linked me to CEX. I think this is the way I will go!Always overestimating...0

I got rid of a load of DVDs and CDs via Music Magpie. They pay postage. Some resale prices were crap - but it was dead easy and convenient. Got cheque through about 7 days later.0

Give them to charity.
I had a clear out recently (to be honest it was to make room for blu-rays!) and gave loads of old DVDs to my local Cancer Research shop.
For the amount I'd get for them, I couldn't justify the time it takes to put them on E-Bay, packing and sending.
You'll get a warm fuzzy feeling and they were happy to take them.0
