Individual House Price data

Does anyone know what is supposed to show and what doesn't? I think it's random. I was having a look at my buying/selling history and I reckon that 50% of transactions are totally missing. I was looking for a pattern but I can't find one.
There is an auction purchase that shows, a repo purchase that shows, my own house shows, some house purchases in our own names showing, some not - ditto the company, but actually most of our purchases are missing. Most sales are there.
The house I've put an offer in on has nothing showing at all (and I've not owned it to jinx it) but when I downloaded the Title Register from the LR it was sold in 2008. If my experience is anything to go on, I think that there are an awful, awful lot of transactions missing!
Is this data pulled from the TR1 submitted by the solicitor or something? If they do exclude certain kinds of sales, how do the LR know to do that?

Not sure but have noticed the same with my sales and purchases (although I don't have nearly as many of them as you)....I think....0

I've noticed it a lot with standard properties that should show up. So Mr/s Average sell a residential house to another residential buyer. All normal daily life stuff - not showing.
My parents' house where I am right now, neighbours both sides bought in 2002-2004, neither show up. B&B over the road's listed.
But, also, I've noticed that different lists have different data.
There's an extended Victorian terrace house on the corner that was sold when the owner died. Converted in 8 flats. I think all 8 were sold to landlords, separately in ones and twos. The new flat purchases only show up on one register. I just checked, they're listed on Mouseprice now without any price information, but now wherever it was that I used to look and see them has gone.
Edit: I remembered I'd "kept" a PDF printout of the prices of those flats some time back, so checked my PC and there it is. I have a PDF dated February 2009 that I printed out from Mouseprice showing every flat and every price. The PDF shows I grabbed a cache from Google dated November 2008. So when I found the data last time it was obviously already removed, which is why I grabbed a PDF from the cache, in case it disappeared forever. Most odd.0 -
Ok. It's not just me then. I've had stuff disappear as well. It's a shamed when you can't get a proper picture.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I can't find one that we nearly bought, then didn't. I know it was bought, because the new owners have had a web site up & running from there this year and they are making structural changes to the property.
Will try another source.0 -
How mysterious. Lots of them disappeared about a year or so back? - I had an email then from 1 of the house price websites I subscribed to explaining this was because the LR was re-organising its data, and they would all be returned in due course (maybe this was around when PN's data disappeared)?
I know I posted on it on here back then.
No idea about more recent changes, though.
Personally, I like the idea of a a nice cosy conspiracy theory, myself.
Anyone got a good one?
