Ha ha - and I thought I caused a lot of chaos in Tesco the other day!! :p I feel so cheeky handing a purse full of vouchers over (especially when they won't scan) but it's well worth it in the end...

First time I've had probs with mocs for ages, maybe the tills are changing!!!!!
Asked manager about Morrisons £10 moc and showed it to her, she rang cash office, said would take it no probs...got to till and SA asked for supervisor who rang cash office...took ages for her to accept it as a non scan and input £10, but did it eventually...then the Airwick free candles mocs...first one no probs, 2nd one would not scan...she would not scan the first one again as I suggested it might be my dodgy printing as ink is low...refused and insisted had to be different moc for each product 'purchased'....long queue forming of irate customers...I stood my ground...she put it to one side...next had 2 Oatilicious one scanned and she inputted £1.34, one wouldn't...handed it back to me...I insisted she scanned again as had 2 loaves, but she said the codes were the same...obviously I said....put it to one side, please keep trying I said...eventualy went through and she tutted as she inputted £1.34 again...then had 2 Ariel mocs from SSM one scanned 1 would not...aha methought, I see what's happening here..but I insisted she tried all the mocs that would not scan again and again until they did...hey presto...they scanned....all except one of the Ariels...had bought the offer huge Ariel powder with free stain remover worth £4.59 free for £6, huge pile by store entrance...got to detergent aisle and the stain remover is on offer at £3 so got the bottle one so could use the till spit for £4.50...worked out at £6 plus £3, minus £4.50 minus £1 minus £1...great deal...2nd Ariel moc def would not scan and so she gave me £1 out of the till for that...then the fun started with Tropicana 50p mocs...only one would scan but had 4, she handed me back 3 mocs...stood my ground and insisted she took them...took her ages with handheld scanner but eventually they scanned.................... lots of moaning from queue, but I turned to them and pointed out that I fully intended to save over £30 and I was not going anywhere until I did....£95.45 before bogofs down to £82.43 paid £50.25....£32.18 worth of mocs( odd amount due to Oatilicious)....

well done on standing your ground, that was a fab shop :)
this happened to me a while ago but the SA I had was lovely. he explained that if you have more than one coupon the same when they try to scan the second one straight away the till thinks its the same one being scanned again by mistake ifyswim so wont take it. he said the SA either needs to wait a few seconds between coupons or use the hand scanner. he told me the best way though is to mix the coupons up so that you dont have two the same together, has worked brilliantly for me since then.

Well used quite a few printable coupons in Mr T's today, no problem at all, thank goodness.

Spent about £150 which included £50 on clothing, and used 2 x £10 Morrisons coupons, 2 x £5 Tesco clothing coupons, 6 x 50p Nivea deodorant coupons, 4 x £1 Flash coupons, 4 x £2 Ariel stain remover coupons, and 4 x £3 Airwick coupons plus a couple of small coupons, total coupon use around £60. Really pleased with my saving.

Long live coupons is all I can say.

Sorry I have not thanked anyone as every time I try the thanks button disappears.
