Been for a small shop in M's this lunchtime as local Farm Foods (bread and milk) is shut for a refit.
Didn't use any coupons but got some good bargains: 2 x 4 pints milk for £2 (£3 best in other supermarkets); a 4 pack of Branston Beans for 89p (special offer at Asda - £2!!!), 2 loaves of Stephenson's wholemeal bread at 50p each (74p for cheap stuff elsewhere) and some Philadelphia Splendips at 49p each (S's next cheapest at 87p)- excellent!

Had to work today, but had a lovely Chinese takeaway on Saturday and it looks like I'll have 2 cakes to eat, as one has been bought and DD has baked me another!
