Try looking in the door seal...that's where my 3 stone diamond ring was...I had searched eveywhere for several days and was really distressed, I was so exhausted through lack of sleep I took Nytol and I dreamt the ring was in the washing machine ....and it was..:j
I had a lovely plumber come out today, he spent an hour and a half looking for it, he took the door seal off, checked all around the rubber, pulled it forward, looked underneath it, opened the filter, took as much of it apart as he could, ran it through a drain cycle with spin and nada!
He thinks if it is in there it is in the pump, and we need to smash it up to get to it.
He has suggested I don't use it until I have spoken to LL but my washing is mounting up and not fair to go to friends and ask to use theirs.0 -

Save yourself £30-50 by not calling the plumber. If you switch off the machine and pull it forward, take the pipe off the back and place into a bucket, repeat until empty. We did this recently when the machine wouldn't empty because the filter was clogged.
Did the plumber check the filter?
yep, me first last night, I found 5p in it, and thought if that got in there, so might my ring, but it wasn't, and he pulled the whole machine out, put it in garden, I have a small kitchen and had a good look. took out filter, etc.0 -
