Neenaww, obviously the most important is checking to see if the registrar is available to marry you on the date you want.
We booked ours a year in advance.

Everything else CAN be planned at a short notice if you are willing to make compromises on what you want.

Have you checked for availability at a register office? Theres a minimum period that you need to have to give notice. I think its 2 weeks in advance.

I only decided in January this year to get married and booked for June 18th. We're going for registry office and community hall so it's been do-able on short notice for us.

Any other 18/06/11 brides NOT got their invites out yet?

Our invites haven't quite made it out yet :cool:, so you're not the only one - hopefullly, we'll still have some guests though!

We only sent our invites a couple of weeks ago - got a few replies back though.

I've still not got the invites lol, the only thing that's been paid for in full so far is the registry office!

It's coming round so fast!!! Most things are done just a few little bits to do now really but I think maybe thats worse, got too much time on my hands now to think about things and make me feel nervous! :eek:

Cant believe its gone by so quickly. Seems like only last month when we had 18 months to go!

I sent my invites out around 6 weeks ago and have had a steady stream of responses, i would say around 1/3rd have replied so far. Expect in the coming month im going to have do do some chaising.

Night do invites will be going out in around 5 weeks time.

TWO MONTHS :eek:

RSVPs are starting to come through, got about half so far.

STILL waiting to get BM dresses, one of them is due a baby this week, so hopefully be able to go shopping soon!

Booked my hair trial & appointment for the actual day.

Had my first proper dress fitting, and have the second one in just over a week.

And my new passport with my new surname arrived last week!
