Hi,
Just to let anyone know who lives in Newcastle Upon Tyne not to bother going to Waitrose for your free chocs. I went this morning but was told they'd ran out and that they wouldn't be getting another delivery tomorrow (the voucher can be redeemed by the 19th). The lady told me that they got hardly any in, there were queues at the crack of sparrow and that they couldn't offer an alternative. Your next nearest shop is in Ponteland and Hexham

I was offered an alternative (any chocolates I liked) and a refund of the difference if the ones I chose were less than £4.99, on the understanding that I was buying something else. I bought Ferrero rocher £3.79, 2x pizzas £3.99 bogof and a 2 pinter of milk. Total cost was something like £3.25!

my local had ran out of stock as well and I wasn't offered an alternative. I feel so annoyed about it I've resolved not to shop at Waitrose again this year.
