F&F offer wording

I got an offer of settlement letter from a DCA from a F&F. It states:
"lf you are able to pay the above figure by the date required it will be acceptable in Full and Final Settlement of the debt and our client will write off the balance."
Is this sufficient in order to be released from my liability?

I would think so. Might be worth a call to nationaldebtline to confirm that they would agree that there would be no debt after this payment was made.
One thing to watch for though - 'by the date required'. Does this mean funds need to clear by this time? Does it give you enough time do make the payment etc? Just something to be aware of.After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
