1. The competition is open to UK resident's aged 16 or over except employees of Selfridges Retail Limited and their families, agents and anyone else connected with the competition.
2. No purchase necessary. Only legible, fully completed, shoe story postcards will be accepted.
3. Entrant's shoe story postcards will not rollover to the following weeks prize draw.
4. Completed shoe story postcards to be submitted on selfridges.com/theshoegalleries (the Promoter). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries which are incorrect.
5. The Prize is one pair of shoes each week for a period of 15 weeks and to the value of £400, for the best story in the opinion of the Selfridges Judges. The Prize will be selected by Selfridges from a range of brands and is subject to availability. Further details of participating brands are available on request from the Promoter.
6. The Prize is as stated, is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.
7. One winner will be selected by the Judges, each Friday at 13:00 GMT for 15 weeks, from the 6th August to the 12th November 2010. The Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner will be notified by email no later than each Monday of the following week. The winner's details can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope after 15/11/2010 to: Marketing department, Selfridges Retail Limited, 400 Oxford Street, London W1A 1AB
8. The winner may be required to participate in future publicity.
9. By entering this competition, entrants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
10. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside its reasonable control with no liability to any entrants, the winner or any third party.
11. Details of the grand final to win a years supply of shoes will be revealed 19th November, 2010, via the Selfridges website.
12. The Promoter reserves the right to award an alternative prize of equal or greater value, should the advertised prize become unavailable for any reason.
