Morrison's Bristol 50p 4 pint milk

I went into Morrison's today in Bristol (Cribbs Causeway) to buy a couple of 4 pinters at the usual price of £1.53. I usually get semi skimmed, and the price was as expected.
I happened to look across at the shelf and was taken aback when I saw that their 4 pint 1% milk (blue label) was marked up at 50p. There was no 'special offer' tag, but was a proper price up tag with the price per litre on it as well.
I grabbed a couple and went to the checkout expecting the price to be wrong. But no - £1 for 8 pints of milk! (There was a slightly awakward pause where I paid the £1 on my debit card because I'd forgotten to bring change
)
Not sure whether this is a mistake in a single store or is a genuine offer. Strange that there was no special offer tag.
