Where to buy babycorn?

Hello,
I'm in the middle of a slimming challenge - lost 4 stones since June, and I have come across baby corn as a super-low calorie, tasty veg. I'm fussy about my veg, so to find something I like is rare.

Problem is it's so expensive. Tinned from Green Giant is £1.26 in my local ASDA, whereas fairly small fresh packs go for £1. Morrisons down the road do an own brand tin for ~90p but I can't find it any cheaper than that.

Just wondered if anyone had any other ideas on where I might find it cheaper really.

PS: Note that I'm referring to baby corn here. Normal sweetcorn contains far too many sugars and calories to be of use to me.

Interesting, those are the same ones Morrisons does for 80-90p. They don't stock them in my ASDA though (was in last night). WIll keep my eye out if I'm passing any of the bigger stores though.

Searching further on MySupermarket however I did find this:

That's quite a cheap way of doing it, plus a tin is bigger than I need really so can stretch these much further. Will have to have a look tonight.

tesco do a bag of frozen corn, cant remember how much it was but think it was about a pound for a bag.

Congrats on the weightloss - that's great! Try Morrisons frozen section, my local one had bags of them for either 99p or £1.25

I get mine from Tesco 50p for Tesco value fresh baby corn.

Asda do a bag of frozen baby sweetcorn for £1 much more economical than buying it fresh or tinned.

OK, well thank you to everyone who has given me ideas. My local ASDA did have the frozen stuff in, I just hadn't looked in the right place.
