Senioriales is a company with property developments in France specifically for older people.
Is there anybody out there with first or second hand knowledge of either the company or the developments?
If somebody in England was thinking of retiring to one of their bungalows in France, what sort of questions should they be asking and what sort of pitfalls could there be?

I know of one couple who are having serious communication problems with the Company. I know the structure has changed recently, lets hope they get their act together very quickly.0

It was bought by Pierre et Vacances earlier this year - which would give me more confidence, but only as I'm familiar with PV as a holiday company.
The concept is buying off plan on a typical "holiday" style development, with villas clustered around a club house.
Buying property abroad is always to be approached with caution - and some serious professional advice - as the process is different and you have the language barrier to negotiate.
I can't see that there would be additional issues unique to Les Seniorales, but you need to be sure what you're buying and what the commitment is e.g. is there a service charge? I would imagine there's quite a hefty one, to contribute to the running of the club house (whether or not you use it) and the upkeep of the grounds.
I think you're just gonna have to look at all the small print, in addition to doing some research on the process of buying a property abroad.
Pay for professional advice before any commitment and before paying any money to LS or anyone else.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0
