My kids are 8 and 6 but can't see them being overimpressed with beanie toys - still remember go go hamsters last year? mind you at least they actually did something

I can't quite understand why these are going for so much on Ebay?!?
They won't do soon though as plenty of people will no doubt be getting these cheaper to sell on, and they will be around a tenner probably as there will be more competition.

Yes I can't see the immediate appeal - I suspect many ebay sellers will be hanging on to them till nearer christmas bit like the go go hamster craze last year!

Disney will only let you order 2 at a time, have ordered 4 for christmas presents, shame there are no free p&p codes around, had to pay for two lots of delivery. Thanks for the heads up

Sure enough the hamsters and all their equipment are now in hibernation (think they were played with once on christmas day) :rotfl:

No I'm not sure - perhaps OP's kids are very young or perhaps they've just been hyped?

This has prompted me to have a google to see what this years predicted top ten toys are:

Sylvanian families are in top ten again (which I love the look of but DD isn't interested)
Paper jamz (guitar) - looks quite cool
Buzz Lightyear jet pack figure (looks like the original buzz we have from the first ever Toy Story)

Not v exciting so far!
