Vol-au-vents

Hi,

I'm having a 70's paty at the weekend and doing some 70's nibbles.

I've bought some frozen vol-au-vent cases and need some help with how to fill them up.

I seem to remember having them with prawns as a Kid and also Mushroom ones (with condensed soup or something?)

Can anyone help with Prawn and Mushroon recipes please?

Hi, whenever i've done them i've used marie rose sauce for the prawns (ketchup & Mayo) and for the mushroom its just campbells condenced mushroom soup.

I usually lightly fry off some mushrooms with a little bit of garlic and add to the soup and then just spoon into the pastry cases..... but i've known people just spoon it from the tins straight into the cases its just personal preference x

You can also buy a can of creamed mushrooms. Look in the canned veg section.

cambells condensed soup ...although I think it is made by someone else noe but still in the red/blue tins
I have used the mushroom and the chicken soup and it just goes in straight fron the can

drain the mushrooms after you've fried them, dont add any milk water to the soup, mix mushrooms into cold soup, for chicken ones, cut cooked chicken into small bits and stir into cream of chicken soup.
