  • Yes its a new store apprently one of the ''the new concept stores''

If its that kind of interview then im looking forward to it the quick fire questions !
  • Hi,

Well done on getting your interview, i worked for primark a good few years ago although it was not a new store so i have no experience of the group part but i would imagine thats the same as every other group interview with regards to they want to see good communication, not too pushy with your own views and team work skills.

I had a one to one interview and to be honest it was very informal i went in they told me all about primark and its history and turnovers they asked me text book questions about what i though i could bring to the role and why do i want the position but i would say as long as your up to date with your replies for those sort of questions you will be fine.

    Good luck xx
  • I had an interview back in June.Whilst waiting for everyone to turn up we sat watching an interview on 'what makes primark'. We then proceeded to a group meeting where we were told what positions were available and what would happen after your interview. Then we proceeded into a room were we had a 'one to one' interview. Questions were relatively easy but best to go prepared. It was quite informal and felt quite relaxed on how the interview was conducted. It only took about 15 mins. A few days later I received an E-mail stating I had been successful but as there were too many applicants then my name would be kept on file and I would be contacted should any more vacancies arise (yeah right, I thought), but sure enough they called a few weeks ago asking if I was still interested (and yes I was). Then I got a call again saying there were some shifts coming available and they would be in contact shortly. Then 2 days ago I got a call inviting me to an induction and will start tomorrow. So Primark definitely keeps you up to date. I'm nervous but looking forward to it after being out of work 5 months.
