Hi, we have a mortgage with bank of scotland . whilst in austrailia an error acured which meant they couldnt take mortgage out.
when we got back we sorted it - so payment was only 3 weeks late.
All governing bodies state that a default can only be issued after mortgage arrears reach 3 - 6 months .
WE GOT A DEFAULT FOR BEING 3 WEEKS LATE!!!!!!!!
A 6 YEAR DEFAULT FOR 3 WEEKS LATE. NOT ARREARS.
BE WARNED OF BANK OF SCOTLAND !
