This was the last I heard about it. Don't live out that way, so not sure if there's been any construction.

Preparations for the arrival of furniture superstore Ikea in Northern Ireland have taken another step forward with the launch of a recruitment campaign. The company, the world's largest furniture retailer, is due to open at Holywood Exchange in late summer 2007 and is now recruiting a management team for the store.Paul Reid, from Hillsborough, Co Down, has been appointed store manager but there are more vacancies to be filled on the ten-strong management team, known as the "Steering Group".IKEA's Ireland Manager, Theresa Daly, explained: "We place huge importance in our recruitment and pride ourselves as being one of the most progressive employers in the world. We believe in each person's capability to develop professionally and personally. We also believe that as our people grow IKEA grows. "Everyone joining the Steering Group in Belfast and all of the 400 or so co-workers who will join them over the next year can be assured of some of the best jobs in retailing and a support structure which is second to none."The proposal consists of two levels of retail warehouse and parking for 1,455 cars. The store will accommodate a showroom, market hall, warehouse, as well as a 500 seat restaurant, creche, staff facilities and customer services areas. Externally, IKEA will build a children's play area as part of its landscaping. The extended Belfast store will carry 9,500 products in a unique layout which will allow customers to view over 55 fully furnished room and home layouts showing the IKEA product range in place. IKEA also aims to have the full product range in stock within the on-site warehouse so that customers do not have to make repeat visits or wait weeks for delivery.I used to have a signature with links to the League Tables for good/bad shipping charges for Northern Ireland. But I have since learnt that this is against site rules - so they are no longer here! PM me if you need them0
