The Magic Key Complete Collection DVD

For any parents whose kids are reading the Oxford Reading Tree books at school, get down to Tesco sharpish.
They are selling these DVDs at £8.97p. That's 26 episodes (over 6 hours) of Biff, Chip, Kipper and the gang for not a lot of cash. Six hours of peace and quiet! Money well spent. I think it may have been a mispriced item as it came up at £10+ when scanned at the checkout. I got a member of staff to check it and they confirmed that it was being offered on display for £8.97p.
The best online price that I could find was from DVD Popcorn for £9.96p.
But rather a pound in my pocket than their's!

It scanned for over a tenner? You should have paid, then gone to CS and got it for free.0

Thanks knuckledragger - does it actually have the words on screen too, or is it just like watching a programme?0

Maybe this could be added to the misprice thread?
I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0 -
Awww, I so miss my daughter reading to me and Biff, Chip and Kipper.
There much better than the Peter and Jane books we read back in the ole dayz.
Peter went up up up. Jane went down down down.
Read into the above how you like but it was only two kids playing on the swings.
good spot, will take a look tomorrow as my sis has a little boy who still reads the Magic key

sarahg1969,
Not being a Tesco regular, I'll know better next time about their policy!
Mrs Optimist,
It's basically a cartoon version of their stories, with the occasional word being spelled out. There's also an option to have subtitles.
jasonrat,
some you win... hopefully it will be mispriced at other Tesco stores....and then the window licker said to me...0
