clean break evidence

One of the problems that was not envisaged was the aggravation that it was going to bring in to society when the CSA was set up and thus ending Clean Break divorces. One of the other reasons for it being set up was to end the 'Gravy Train' of people that got married and then got a big divorce settlement [Heather Mills excluded] now everyone has very little chance of moving on and there is the new bread instead, the 'Cereal PWC' say a woman has 3 children by different fathers and they all get clobbered by the CSA, then she will be very well off indeed. Possibly have to earn in- excess of £40K to get the money she would then get! Provided they were all working!0

If it was prior to 1991 surely the children would be no longer eligible for C.S?Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

Thanks for all the replies, the clean break was done in 1991 way before the csa came along, 1st contact i had with them was very late '90s 98/99 i think it was, apparntly she put a claim in aug '93, so im told she was waiting for there doors to open when csa 1st started
Iv been to see my brief about the about all this and just been told it would cost 10's thousands to take the csa to court so sorry nothing we can do, apparently you cannot get legal aid against the csa!
Can i ask what is the maximum a magistrates court can deal with as i have been informed sums upto 5k any more than that it must be done through the county court ! its just the Liability Order was granted in magistrates for 27k.
Thanks again.0 -
The Court will just draft in a District Judge to cover the amount that it is dealing with if too much!
As for a 'Clean Break' it matters not when it happened if there are QCs involved that the CSA will get involved and come after you.
Not much help but there it is.0
