Hi I have a debt with mbna and I had payment protection , I tried to cancel it a couple of times but they were bvery persuasive and I kept it on , If I claim for it would mbna take their bat home and become awkward on my management payment plan to them

You should cancel it AND claim back all PPI payments that you have made. The money paid back will probably go towards the outstanding balance that you have with them but it shouldn't affect your payment plan, after all, if your circumstances haven't changed, you won't be able to increase the payment anyway. They can't have what you haven't got! Good luck!"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0

See the forum about reclaiming. I claimed back alot of money through mis sold PPI. However it took 4 months. On this MSE there are draft letters you can send to do that.Egg April 10 £6600 Jan £4678 now £0
Santander Jan £3414 April £3338
Virgin April£2643 Aug £3155 April £7109
Barclaycard Oct £1476 April £1287
So far paid off 17% of c.c. debt:T0 -
