I have a Barclaycard, have had for around 20 years. In that time I've probably been late on one payment a year (forget). I check my credit files every year and have done for many years, in all this time my Barclaycard has never appeared on any report. My limit was circa 20k and at times had 8k outstanding, other cards held have always shown on reports.
It turns out Barclaycard only inform credit agencies about the card if you default, still mentioned it mind you when applying for re mortgage.

And we thought our offset lifetime tracker at 2.49%+BOE was not very good and OH is still worrying that it is a large 'spread'!

  • Hi ginvzt

Do you think this is a bad rate?

i was pleased with it given our 15% deposit.

Certainly makes the monthhly payments more than manageable
  • I recently got accepted for a new mortgage despite every month being £2500 into my overdraft. Mortgage amount of £100,000 at 4.39% for a five year fix with no problems
  • its all good:beer:
