Another one of those stupid questions of mine.....

..... that involves microfibre cloths this time.

I've bought several microfibre cloths (could be turning into a little bit of an addiction if I'm not careful!) and I was wondering.....

Do people use them for washing up too? (I've moved house and haven't got a dishwasher) I've got a brush for mugs but was thinking about my non-stick pans. I use a different type of cloth at the moment.

Talking of washing up.... I've been using fairy liquid but was watching Anthea this evening for the first time and she was making her own. Do any of you do this?

Also, do any of you actually use star drops for washing up like it says on the bottle? (I'm such a big fan of stardrops already although I don't think I've used it to it's full potential yet)

Thanks

yellow one for dishes and wiping kitchen sides
    green one for floor
    blue one for toilet
    pink one for bathroom
maybe i have a microfibre cleaning cloth addiction too
i find it fab at cleaning dishes that you would normally leave to 'soak'(ie cant be bothered to scrub)
its fab at cleaning windows too by the way.
it totally does what it says on the bottle (in my opinion anyway)

Thanks Jacs76. Oh I can colourcode mine too!!! I'll have to decide which colours for what.

Re the one you use for the toilet, do you mean inside the bowl too or just the outside?

  • I am so glad that others have the same addiction. :D I have a rhyme of blue for the loo and pink for the sink for colour coding my microcloths in the bathroom.

I can heartily recommend using them for washing up. I once used them just with water to clean up very messy pans in a field in the Isle of Wight and I was amazed just how good they were.
