Um, not stricly "baby wipes" I suppose, but I'm reluctant to pay the astronomical price for Femfresh wipes and wondered if anyone knew if it was possible to make your own version of them.
I spotted a post about it somewhere on the forum earlier today but can't find it now!

hmmm... I don't know about femfresh, but I used to make my own babywipes for ds1 & 2.
I had two different types:
First, I had an old tupperware container that I used like a babywipe container. I'd cut 'bounty' (although I'd use an own-brand equivalent) kitchen towels and put them in there to fit (i like cut n stick so i enjoy this kind of thing!) and then poured over them a solution of mainly water, some olive oil, a splash of 'green' liquid soap and about 10 drops of lavender oil. The stronger kitchen towels don't fall apart, and i'd make up a new batch every 2-3 days (since I wasn't using any nasty chemical preservatives, which was part of the reason I was doing all this in the first place - to get away from the chemicals.).
They were my 'knackered' baby - wipes, for when i was TOO bushed to use the other kind (i get like that with two ds's who don't sleep!)
The second kind were squares of incredibly soft old cotton sheets that I'd SNAP up in charity shops for about a pound - you know when they've been washed and washed so soft! I'd cut them into wipe sized squares, and then hem them if I was feeling energetic, or more usually use pinking shears on them. Then I'd fill a spray bottle with the solution described above, and those were my wipes! they were great for travelling too, and i'd use them on myself.
I miss UK charity shops!!
In fact I still pretty much use that spray on my face as a cleanser (although i leave out the soap) and on my hair i use a spray of rain-water (we're on tanked water here in NZ) and jojoba oil, rose or lavender oil and a smidge of organic hair conditioner.
I used cloth nappies, and I also used cloth san pads and a mooncup, so I'd use the wipes on me too... i don't know if that's what you were looking for? Now i have a merina coil and don't have periods! yippee!! :rotfl:
good luck (hope that's not tmi, btw)

Are you thinking of using something while you are out and about then? Would a good old fashioned flannel and soap not do the trick?
I haven't aclue what you can use while you are out and about. I use flannels (from IKEA) and a squirty spray bottle filled with water for my babies bums but I'm thinking that perhaps you wont' want to carry a squirty bottle about with you? (not exactly discreet, is it?!!)0 -
chamomile tea can be used to soak the wipes. Did this for my baby, using cheap flannels.
