in Asda reduced from £15, the remote control has 4 socket controls.

These are fab, i got them last year and they were a lifesaver at christmas - saved crawling under the trees and being hit by baubles!! Ended up just leaving them plugged in - no longer have to switch all the lights off at night, just have to find the remote.....:rotfl:0 -
hmm. If you swich your TV off with the power button on the TV, does that actually switch it off? (rather than standby)
I know the Xbox doesn't switch off completely, because I can turn that on with the remote.0 -

On newer tvs there is no off button - the power button just puts it on tsandby, essentially atill using electricityhmm. If you swich your TV off with the power button on the TV, does that actually switch it off? (rather than standby)
I know the Xbox doesn't switch off completely, because I can turn that on with the remote.0
