When you get married its important that you enjoy yourselves. Its your day and you should concentrate on the important stuff. At the end of the day everyone will always put their 10p worth in on what you should or shouldn't do. If you think it good then do it. I made my own bridesmaids bouquets, hair combes and my hair combes. There weren't seat covers to worry about. We didnt have any money but I did spend out on open top rollers which i had always dreamed off and all my neices and nephews as bridesmaids pageboys and ushers oh and the bells to ring. I am still married after twenty years.

Just wanted to say it's a great venue and the food is top notch, we eat there regularly and the chairs are in great condition so maybe lose the chair covers completely?

if it is good quality white gold it shouldnt need to be dipped, mine don't, and platinum will wear the white gold away, so shouldn't be worn together anyway.

We changed the sit down meal for a buffet .. We had lots of compliments from our guests as they could eat whatever they wanted instead of what we chose for them ..
