capquest or capitalone

This question has probably been answered quite afew times but i can't find any relevant posts about this.

I've been in communication with capitalone regularly over my credit card but this week capquest have sent a letter asking me to call them.

I've decided to cca them but who do i send the letter to capquest or capitalone. On the letter it does say client: capitalone so i assume capquest are being used to get this debt.

If anyone could confirm which one it would be appreciated.

Also can i include in the letter the " i only want to communicate via letter" if so i assume this is to capquest.

Send both to the last company to be in touch with you.....and personally , i would send them seperately , and both by Recorded delivery

i must have got same letter as you,

I,m paying monthly token payments for the the last six months to capital one,then get a letter from capquest saying i must phone them.

so i have cca capquest yesterday.

what are others peoples experiences with doorstop visits do they just disregard the letter and turn up ?

rec reply today account on hold for 28days and some nonesence about proof of payments that would assist with your query.

I got two replies one asking me for my signigture before they send out the cca which i'm not going to do. I have to send another letter out tomorrow saying my sig isn't needed. The other letter was from capquest from the legal arm saying that i needed to pay the entire sum by the 3rd october. The account is now in dispute so i think this negates the 3rd october date. or am i mistaken ?

Its strange because they would have only got the letter sat/ monday requesting the cca and yet the letters were both dated the 20th.


so have you recieved your cca fly or are they giving themselves 28 days to find it.

after sending both letters capquest have written back informing me my account has been put on hold for 28 days while they find the documentation.

have they contacted you since the last letter flybutterfly ?
