Where for discount 'designer' clothes

Hi there,

New to the UK (London) - is there any other stores similar to TK Maxx
that sells discounted clothes (e.g. last season).

Need a nice overcoat :)

Thanks!!

If you scan the small ads in the Metro, you'll often see sample sales advertised for both high street and designers - massive reductions, though they can be a little frantic :)

Most are fairly central, but less likely to be in the evenings or weekends.

Camden lock/market on a saturday morning, not only are there lots of individual shops/stalls but many larger companies sell overflow products in the market:)
Thank you for this site Martin

  • I went to bicester designer village last week, picked up a few designer bargains, I saw the coach as I was driving down the M40 and you can pick that up from marble arch and edgeware road to bicester, I think it was £19 return if you fancy a day trip! :)

Macarthur Glen outlets...I'm lucky enough to be close to the massive Cheshire Oaks one but there's a few around the country. Can be a bit hit-and-miss in that stock inevitably varies and I always get the best bargains when I'm not really looking :)
