Thursday 16th September - What DFW things have you done today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important
Hello all
Check bank
Email friends back
Do comps before work
Go to work - half day
Arrange one night free - hopefully this time!!
Use free mins and texts
Do dusting
Try and vacuum car out depending on the weather
See to pets and take rubbish out
Go and see my mum after work
Dinner from stores - just me as oh is away for the night
Relaxing evening in
Hope everyone has a good day!

No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

KiKi' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -
Morning All
ooh a Kindle La E, I am so jealous!
Though it would be impractical really now, I only read in bed or armchair and a book suffices. There's no comuting in my life nowadays, which was when I first hankered after an e-book *sigh*
It may be gloomy outside but we're cheery here because DD's dissertation is no longer hanging over us and DD2 is visiting us and we're going to chill and blitz the house - they're not totally incompatible
So today I have/will:- must check oil levels in my car and pump up DD's tyre - this way our old bangers will LAST (already 13 and 11 years old :rotfl:)
- get DS2 to load pictures onto a chip for F-i-L's birthday present (digital frame with pictures of US already loaded
) - out for supper with friends tonight
:D:D (and the first friends I've visited this time without driving  miles
) - I need to read MG's book.....
- lots of Flylady to be done, and shredding of DD's notes
- check banking
- relax
:D:D
