I always !!!!! mine with a knife/fork, to allow the heat to generate through to the middle, turning them frequently. Failing that, have you tried the George Forman Mean grilling machine? Thats excellent to drain off any excess fat.

I'm always suspecious of these celeb branded items. As soon as I see them I wonder why the product needs an endorsement to sell. I'd rather buy something that sells on its own merits or by personal recommendation.

I roast mine as well, its amazing how much fat drains off even from posh sausages, its the fat gives the meat its flavour......... they tend to put a lot of rusk in cheap sausages.

If I am roasting sausage I usually allow 45 minutes on gas mark 5. If I do toad in the hole, I wait 15 minutes and then pour the batter in, it takes about half an hour to cook.

Sausages with gravy, I tip off the fat and add the gravy mix (stock, tomato puree, red wine and crushed garlic, mixed with a little cornflour to thicken) to the tin for the last 15 minutes with the sausages in it, IYKWIM.
