hi just after some advice
Im still in a joint mortgage with ex been trying to sort with solicitors but getting no were fast (been goin on 2 yrs!!!) she cant remortgage on her own and doesnt want me to buy her out .............. in the mean time me and missus have her house on market and have an offer .... can we get a mortgage even if im still in one ??? she cant afford to do it on her own as doesnt earn enough

Do u have kids with your ex? is that why u can't sell the house? because if no kids, really she hasn't got a choice,you can sell. and if you've already got a mortgage, you probably won't be able to afford another one until the first one is paid off.0

hi no kids no other ties can force a sale but had min quote of 8k
on good wage so on paper i can afford my half to old one plus new one ......but will they let me ???0 -
Not sure, why not go and see an independant mortgage advisor? Really, you need to be shot of the first house though. If your ex can't afford to live there she will have to move on, either rent somewhere or depending on the equity, buy cheaper.0

thats the prob she can afford mortgage payments i stopped contributing 12 months ago issue is shes been turned down on single remortgage to get me off it AHHHGGGGGGG driving us nuts !!!!!!! will go see some one cheers mate0

Is she saying that she is refusing her consent to sell the house? Who is paying the mortgage at present?Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

she is paying full mortgage for a while ............shes not for budging on the sale of propery .........bank wont take me off mortgage as she is unable to get remortgage in her name not sure why as she earns enough ... she 51 so could be age current climate etc ????0

Shes taking you for a ride. She has your part of the house,you dont,yet your paying for it. Shes also stopping you from moving on.
