I saw a lexmark 3 in 1 printer/copier/scanner reduced by £20 in ASDA from £59.99 to £39.99 the other day. Only the bigger stores though.0 -
You won't do any better in my opinion than a Brother. I bought mine after seeing it recommended by other posters on these boards.
Have a look at https://www.pcworld.co.uk & see if they still have the Brother DCP 117 available at £49.99 including delivery.I've got this & it's a great little machine, compact & stylish with individual ink cartriges. Cartridges are widely available & cheap from under £10for a set of 4.
Have a look at the consumables board for recommendations of where to get the cartridges from.
Be careful with the Lexmarks as the ink cartridges are pretty pricey. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
Dell have one on offer at the moment (£36.74 Delivered for one, if you order two the price is £57.03 Delivered)
With the Dell All-In-One Printer 810, every home and small office can enjoy great value and performance in a convenient all-in-one copier, scanner and printer. The exceptionally compact, space saving 810 prints up to 13 A4 pages per minute (ppm) in black or colour for fast, affordable productivity and offers scanning and copying at the touch of a button.

Where is the cheapest place to get one?Max Millionaire191 007:T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T0 -
Watch out for the Lexmark ones. The printers might be cheap - but the ink is often very expensive (sometimes more expensive to replace the ink cartridges than the cost of the printer itself. Epson, Brother or HP are good options for cheap ink replacement.
I used to have an Epson C42 which did me fine, but I got a Brother DCP-310CN network all-in-one earlier this year on offer from Argos. Ink replacement for this is £1.75 per cartridge (4 seperate ink cartidges too - so you only replace the one colourt that runs out). Before the Epson I had a Lexmark and the cartridges (not original ones either) were about £20 each (1 colour and 1 black required).0 -
Makro are doing the Epson DX4800 for £49.99 ex vat, and you can get a bundle deal on compatible ink cartridges online, bundle of ten, choosing which colours you need, all for £20 inc del and vatAnd yes the lady in the avatar is me

I don't think you'll find the Brother cheaper anywhere else, especially as delivery is free from pcworld. It's probably the most compact all in one you are likely to find. Some of the others are huge by comparison.
You might be lucky to get a couple of percent cashback if you go through Rpoints or one of the similar sites. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

Cheers guys - Would it be worth looking on ebay and buying direct from the Brother Uk shop, I know that it says that their printers are factory refurbished, but they are cheapMax Millionaire191 007:T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T0

Any Ideas?Max Millionaire191 007:T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T0 -
Which ever one you get make sure the cartridges can be bought cheaply, or a printer which seems a bargain turns out in the end to be expensive in the long run.We just bought an epson dx3850 for £65 and we can get cartridges for it for about a £1each.0
