Rossendales Collect - am I doing the right thing?

So, from the information I have provided to Rossendales it is obvious that I cannot afford this payment right now. I do get my first student loan installment at the end of september which is £600.00. Usually I spread this out and it makes up the shortfall over the months so I can keep up my payments on the credit cards, but what if gave this to Rossendales? It wouldn't be enough to cover the debt and I would then have no way of making up the shortfall each month. This situation seems impossible!
If i can't pay Rossendales more than 5 or 10 a month then what will they do to me? Does anyone know?0 -
The only reason I didn't declare my student loan in my SOA to Rossendales is because technically it's not income is it? It's just more debt that I'll have to pay back.0

Thanks for the help so far, though it is clear that there is no further advice anyone can offer me.
It really is an impossible situation and I must now look forward to a life of ccj's and bailiffs with no power to help myself.
I hope that in years to come when I've got through this I will be able to help someone else on this site who finds themselves in as much trouble as I am and can help them to find a solution before it becomes hopeless, as it now has for me.0 -
They will simply return the debt to the council. That's it. It's then up to council to take further action. So, from the information I have provided to Rossendales it is obvious that I cannot afford this payment right now. Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Do you mean that you also recive a student loan on top of your other income?
If so, you need to add that to your income on your SOA because it is money available to cover your living costs.
Do you get your travel to placements costs re-funded?
Have you spoke to your student welfare people, applied for a hardship grant or loan?
What do you have around the place (or at your parent's if you left stuff there) that you can sell?If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
