Possible free loaf of bread with asda.com

Hi there, I set up a new account with asda last night to try and take advantage of a free delivery code, well its just been delivered and as im a "new" customer i got a free loaf of bread - a white crusty loaf (unsliced).Must be a new thing theyre doing. Only 68p on the price sticker but still, free bread is free bread!

Also, as much as i moan about the subs and mistakes sometimes, i cant complain today.
I ordered the box of pampers simply dry nappies (orange ones) only to be sent those AND a free box of normal baby dry. These are around £12 each or 2 for £20 atm i think, this didnt even show on my receipt so jus a mistake. Well chuffed thanks Asda! :j

    2 litre bottles grouse whisky
    12 cans cider
    2 bottles milk

    for free!

Ive also just got an asda credit card because any order over £99 is delivered for free.
  • Well the best ive ever had is when i order a joint of meat and i pick a weight, and they dont have that weight, so i get almost double for the same price. Really pleased with this.
Bit miffed that they subbed my spagetti and sausage for beans and sausage when id already ordered beans and sausage lol, but after the nappies i dont mind!

  • We just signed up for Asda.com on Sunday - didn't get any freebies but very happy with the service, only £3 delivery (not bad considering the closest Asda to us is 42 miles away!) and guaranteed price match against Tesco, Sainsbury's and Morrisons.
  • yesterday they send me
9 loaves of bread and 4 packs of scones.
whats the right thing to do keep quiet? or give back to driver?

  • I wouldnt feel bad about keeping quiet. I was one of the people left in the lurch last winter in all the snow with my money kept on hold for 10 days. Their horrendous customer service left hundreds with no shopping and no money.
Asda are a multi billion pound/dollar company who arent gona go bust over a few loaves of bread thats for sure!:)
