Tesco not taking their own Vouchers???

I got 2 till coupons from Tesco last time I shopped instore, a couple of weeks ago. So when I did an on-line shop for last Friday, I gave the 3 ( 1 for 65 extra clubcard points, on a product I was buying, 1 for 30p off butter and 1 for 15p off kettle crisps, which I also bought), to the delivery man.
Today they came back in the post, 1st class, with a note saying they can only be redeemed instore. The same store (branch), that I got the vouchers from!!!!!Problem is by the time I get to go back to the store, they will be out of date!

I'm sure if you explain kindly to Tesco's of your situation that they will deduct the vouchers value even if they are expired. Just bring in your receipt as proof and the letter you received back from them declining the vouchers, and im sure they will sort it out. Tesco's are excepting Sainsburys money off total spend vouchers for online shops, which you can get from joining nectar card and various Sainsburys 'baby clubs' etc.

The checkout operator in Tescos refused to accept my coupons (not Tesco ones just general ones, I only had forty pence worth!) on Sat saying they would only accept them if I bought the product. She made out that this was the policy and had been for a year. I know this is bunkem. Asda here I come!
