Advice please - email from My Offers

Hi all

I am hoping for some advice from all you lovely more experienced people! I have had an email form My Offers as follows:

Hello ********!

Congratulations! You have just been nominated to be our possible winner!
We are happy to announce that you are one of our lucky three selected to win an Apple product:
1. Name 1
2. My Name
3. Name 3

It then asks me to click on one fo three links to select whether I would like an Apple iMac, iPhone or iPad.

Is this genuine or not?

Nah, it's junk I'm afraid. The phrase 'possible winner' gives it away.

Same here too. I hate these kind of emails, making you think you might win when all the time they no full well that you definitely won't - they should be banned from sending them.

Thought as much, just been lucky never to have one before! Just out of interest, what would happen when you click on one of the prize links?

I dont know but i'm guessing they will sell your address on to third parties and you will get LOADS of junk mail, thats just a guess though.
