DDs renewal is not till end of December - can I renew now and then it'll kick in later? Bit risky?

Hi does anyone know if this offer is still available,as I seen it on the spotlight on Thursday and have just gone on now to purchase it but cant find it anywhere,I have tried logging out then back in but no luck,is it just me or can someone else find it,Thanks.

My son's subscription is currently month-to-month (I know, I know) so it tells me that the offer is not available and I have to pay the full price of £39.99!!

I'm interested to know this too - I've sent them an email asking about it. I'll let you know what their answer is.

I've just taken out a 12mth sub for £23.99 through the link as posted earlier by farmeruk. Works a treat! I did see the offer when I logged in last weekend then when I went to take it out last night the price had jumped up to only show a discount of 20% off. The link is a surefire way to get the full 40% discount. As before, it does expire on 27th though... happy gaming!

I just got this response from XBox. (My son has Gold membership that will be renewed in February.)

'Thank you for contacting Xbox Support.
Unfortunately, at the moment this offer is only available to our silver members and members on trial accounts. However, if you purchase it now under your son's account, it will renew in February at the lower cost, so it will take effect at the renewal date. However, for the UK, US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand that offer has now been changed to 20% off.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
If you are going ahead with the offer, please purchase it through your xbox dashboard, rather than the web, due to some technical difficulties with the web offer.'

So month to month Gold members (£4.99 per month) can't take up this offer?

I want to buy 12 months subscription instead of paying the £4.99 a month!

Seems that the 'offer' has now gone up to £31.99 on the dashboard.

Back to eBay then
