Mortgage/Divorce help

Sorry if this is not relevant to this part of the forum, but I wasn't sure where else to post it....!
My other half is currently going through divorce...the decree nisi was issued in July. We completed on our mortgage at the end of July. We were waiting for the absolute to come through when the other day we randomly rec'd a letter from the sols advising they had not settled some financial issues with with his ex's sols, and that they could apply for the absolute without a "form of consent" but that this could possibly impact if she decided to be vicious in the future.
My worry is, is that will the house that we have bought now be seen as an asset he acquired during his marriage and therefore be liable for her to get her hands on in any way? FYI, the nisi was issued on 14th July, and we completed on 23rd July?
Thanks for any help

A phone call to his solicitor will give him the answer to your question.
For me the Consent Order was the most important part of the divorce so that there was no claim in the future. I was advised not to apply for the absolute until it was all sorted and signed.0
