Any advice (non medical)?

Hi All
I've had depression for the last 15 years or so, the docs think it came about from me having Glandular Fever as a kid. Normally I'm ok and carry on working and taking my tablets, but this time it's really bad and I can't carry on as normal. I rang up the docs about it and they are putting me on some new tablets (Citropram?) but I can't take my current ones for 10 days as they need to get out of my system before I can start the new ones. Just wondered if anyone else has been in this situation, having to cope without ADs, and if they can offer any advice on ways to deal with it. The docs have been less than helpful
Thanks, Sam

no advice for the tablet break other than concentrate on slow breathing, and i'm on citalopram and i find them very helpful.
hope you feel better soon0 -
Don't know about the break in tablets, but if they aren't working properly anyway maybe it won't be so bad. In the past I have taken Fluoxetine which really didn't have much effect but this time am on Citalopram which have worked wonders. Hope they do for you too! x0

Thanks for the replies. Are you both working, and if so, did you manage to work before and after taking the Citropram? I just don't feel up to it at the min.
