I was interested to see this thread after searching my local stores and phoning their call centre I cannot find a way to buy this bike at a decent price, argos said that the item had been discontinued and was not available in my local stores but how come they can't tell me if they have one ANYWHERE in England?? Not that I am willing to travel all that far its just strange if you ask me, or unhelpful, or both! If anyone finds one of these then I'd be grateful to know!!

I am already a account holder with empire stores so cant get the £25 off although maybe I could recommend my mum??? hmmmmm......... (how do you do that by the way??)

Hope this helps...I rang empire stores told them my sister had recommended me ,but i think you can recommend someone the same way.she gave me the 25 off and she had the 15 bless her,the details of how to do this and the codes are in the catalogue "share £40 with a friend",only problem will be that you or your mom will have to spend min £30 minus 15 offer as the new customer to get the 25 off, luckily my sister was placing an order
just a word of caution the 10inch bike is very small,i wouldnt say its for a 3-5 yr old!!!my 3 yr old is too big for it you may find a 12inch better for this age,but it does the job for a first bike i guess, and his face on his bday was a day to remember

Aw thanks for this, my lil boy will be 3 in January and this was going to be an xmas present... He is not particularly big for a 3 year old (only just in 2-3 year clothes bless him - LOL) so it may be ok but then again it may be better to go for the 12" just in case... Think I will take him to halfords and sit him on a couple of bikes just to check??

Thanks for your advice about empire stores... I will see if there is anything else on there that mum needs and see if we can work out an order?? I threw the catalogue away as I get too tempted to spend on it - LOL so only look at the sale stuff online usually but I may give them a call and see what they can offer!! thanks for your help!!! :D
