Cheaper to buy or repair?

Hi all, my fridge freezer is on the blink and the food is either warm or frozen, my oh thinks it will be better to get someone in to repair it but i think it would be more economical in the long run to buy a decent new one because
1. Our old one is very old and probably won't last much longer anyway
2. We have three young children and the old fridge freezer is quite small so we are gonna need a bigger one as they get bigger, it is cramped already.
what do you think?

Find a local repair shop and ask them how much it will cost.

If you then decide you want a new one, what's your budget and how big do you want your FF to be?0
