Good morning fellow DFWs :hello:
Spirits are much better today after a productive evening and a good night’s sleep!
Having a busy morning at work which is exactly what I need as idleness is not good for the mind or soul!
I worked out last night that I overspent by about £3 on the Sunday to Friday challenge. I can’t remember the exact figure
This means a no spender for today or tomorrow which shouldn’t be a problem. Have lunch and snacks with me today and an evening of watching DVDs and putting feet up awaits me :j
Hope the rest of you are doing better on the challenge and remember, going over by a bit or by a lot is not license to go and spend more (yes, I keep telling myself that :rotfl: )

Morning Moozie!
Glad to hear you're having a better day todayAnd well done on admitting the overspend and what you're now going to do about it. I too have overspent
I blame it in the Grabbit board and the Asda link!
Anyway should hopefully be a low/no spend for me. I'm patiently waiting for a phone call which should come any minute now regarding a job I applied for. If I get it thats an extra 3k at least per year! Fingers crossed.
Other than that, as its my day off I'll be spending it in the house. Might even get started on the second terramundi I need to makeThats always fun
So heres to hoping, a job and no spend for me, and a fabulous day for everyone elseWealth is not measured by currency0 -
I don't plan on spending anything today at all.
Tomorrow however, I'm not looking forward to. I start back on my day-release degree at Uni tomorrow which will involve £5 for parking, the cost of lunch (packed lunches aren't allowed in the Uni canteen), the temptation of bottles of pop/cups of tea inbetween lectures and the horrifying prospect of my friends wanting to go shopping during lunch break. I feel like a right turnip counting my pennies while my 2 freinds are debating whether to get 3 or 4 different shades of brown Mac eyeshadow at £9 each.

Certainly not a no spend day, but there's only £2.20 in my purse so it won't be any more than that.
Having a PMT day so I might have to spend a bit on some chocolate :undecidedOU Student! - ED209, SDK125, DSE212, SK124, DSE141, SD226, DXR222, DD303, DD307 = BSc Psychology0 -

Good morning Moozie, hope you're well. Today I plan to spend nothing - but then, I always plan on spending nothing
I am not going out at all, and will be in bed early so fingers crossed this will be my first nsd in a long time
I have also applied for a Tescos cc, no idea whether I'll get it or not. I plan to do all my tescos shops using this to get the extra club card points as we're saving them to pay for our holiday next year. I will pay the balance off in full so there should be no charges, and it should (if we get it) improve our credit rating as well (a bonus, not the be all and end all cos we just don't do credit anymore)
Hope everyone else has a good dayDebts @ lightbulb moment (13/06/2006) - £59,842.23  All commercial debts now clear!!! :T Debts April - £20,000 to family (incl extra £10k borrowed for house deposit). DFD - Aug 2014
Proud to be dealing with my debts
Goal of the month - £500 on groceries for family of 5 - Apr 2011 - £620!May - £454.85 so far.

I am hoping nothing as I have nothing that I need to get.
But I do have to do a 36 mile round trip to see husband in hospital. And as I park off site it should cost nothing for parking.
But I spent £12.98 yesterday on buying him a portable cd player and batteries. As I know he is getting bored.
The amount I have spent over the last few days on junk food and stuff is just silly.
