Look for the channels with the F symbol in the Enc.System column.

Should add that it may take a few seconds for the page to load properly!
  • Thanks buddy!!

  • They are all ones we get on sky freeview anyway (what happens when you don't pay your bill)!

Is there any way we can pick up movies and programmes such as paramount and stuff on our tv's, or can you only do this via your pc?

Think there is a thread on another part of an MSE forum about this. Cannot remember where though!
One hundred years from now it won't matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little better because, I was important in the life of a child.
  • Yeah I was trying to find it but couldn't for the life of me!!!

I'm sure I will one day.............................................

There is no such thing as sky freeview, its called freesat and these are the free-to-view and free-to-air channels, there is no way that you can get paramount and 'pay' channels for free on sky, ntl have a service(or is it telewest) if you go with phone you can get up to 30 channels for free and this is not freeview, one channel includes skyone, there is some software that will let you get some channels such as disney but these are not the same as english ones.
Things that are free in life are great, well most of the time
  • we had NTL and got that package 2 years ago and we added more channels and paid £35 a month for the it. MrY then wanted Sky Sports, so we switched over as if we had Sky Sports included we would have been paying more than we would for sky with all the channels. Plus, NTL was down more than on anyways which is a whole other thread...

We couldn't pay our bill and they have now turned our sky off and we watch the free channels. I called it freeview because i did not know the proper term for it. Anyways, we still get more channels than my sister-in-law who has a 'proper' freeview box. Maybe she hasn't got her box right or something.

A 'friend' of ours has offered us a chipped Skybox for £99 where all the programmes are on there and free, but it carries a jail sentence so i decided against it! Apparently though, he has had his for 6 years but knowing our luck we would be caught within a day!
