Is anybody having problems with Mills & Boon? I sent off for two free books. Several weeks after the freebies arrived four others turned up with a bill for £12. Paid £3 to return them now I’ve found I’ve got a debt recovery firm after me as I haven't paid.
I have just read the small print frrom the web site.
"After receiving your free books, if you do not wish to receive any further books, write 'cancel' on the dispatch note and return it to us. If we do not hear from you, approximately one month later we will send you four more books from the MODERN ROMANCE series, individually priced at £2.80. Delivered free to your door, you can be one of thousands of readers who enjoy receiving the best new romance novels each month before they are available in the shops!"
Beware Stay well clear of Mills & Boon

Oh no! That's terrible!! I did the trial through Quidco, received the two books and cancelled online the same day.
Haven't heard a word from them since."I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0
